The C-BFLU Condenser is a two-lens aplanatic condenser with a swing-out top lens and an aperture iris diaphragm. With the top lens in the light path the numerical aperture of the condenser is 0.90, and with the top lens swung out of the light path the condenser’s N.A. is 0.30. The performance of this condenser’s main aspherical lens in cooperation with the swing-out top lens makes transmitted Brightfield observations extremely effective with both low- and high-power objectives.
